Madeleine Duncan earned both her Iron Ring in Geological Engineering and her Earth Ring as a Geoscientist on March 22 at Queen’s University. The Iron Ring is a symbol worn by engineers to remind them of humility, integrity, and their duty to protect the public, while the Earth Ring represents a geoscientist’s ethical responsibility to steward and understand the planet.
